i wouldnt get a pintail. you can cruise and carve on almost any board so you might as well get one that can do other things well also. id go for a board that can handle some freeriding and downhill and then you can easily grow into it as you get better. i cant tell you how many people start out on pintails and then wish that they didnt once they start to progress. good luck!
i havent been riding a much lately but when i do im more into downhill or freeriding kinda stuff.
Great boards, not really my style of riding and super expensive, but great boards.
